DESCRIPTION: Negro woman
DISTRIBUTION: May 25, 1797
NOTE: There is a slim possibility that this is the same individual as Peggy (S715). Peggy was an adult in 1730. Based on the extremely low value, S988 is clearly either elderly or ill. If this individual is the same as S715, by the time of this documentation, Peggy would have to be at least 85 years old. This would be the case if Peggy (S715) was 18 years old at the time of her baptism in 1730. However, this theory is unlikely, given the trend of life expectancies, particularly those of slave laborers.
NOTE: Distributed to widow, Sarah
